Chabname Zariâb

Chabname Zariâb was born in Kaboul, Afghanistan. When she was 7 years old she immigrated to France with her parents. She grew up in a very literary family and studied cinema before working in the damage expert assessment field. In 2011, Chabname published her first novel, The Afghan Pianist, laureate of several literary awards, which first was a script for cinema. Then she headed for the writing of a script for a documentary. The Camel Boy [2018] is her latest film.
