On the verge of her marriage, Arghavan, 25, is gang-raped in a deserted area of Tehran. In a strict, conservative society where young women are expected to be virgins before marriage, this is a crime and a catastrophe. The crime is that of her assailants; the catastrophe is hers. Overwhelmed by rumours, her life begins turning into a nightmare.

Born in Tehran, Iran in 1981, Pourya Azarbayjani graduated in theatre directing from Soreh College in Tehran and began making shorts, including Autumn Travelers (2000), Contrast (2001), A Street with No Number (2004), For Two Cups of Tea (2004) and I Had Come to Have a Cup of Tea with Earth (2004). UNFINISHED STORIES (2007), his first feature, was shown in numerous international festivals.
